Theatre pieces 2021-2030

The growing worldwide success of the theatre adaptations of The Master and Margarita came to an abrupt end due to the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19, which meant that almost all events around the world would be canceled from the month of March 2020.

It was only in the summer of 2021 that we saw a gradual revival in the number of performances, when Europe and the United States were fully committed to large-scale vaccination campaigns. The first performances were played in half-full halls with small bubbles, a large distance between the seats and the obligation to wear mouth caps. Later, the rules got looser for people who could present proof of vaccination or a negative test.
